Well actually it was in <em>Western<\/em> Sydney. Actually, more like the eastern Blue Mountains, but anyway.<\/p>\n<p>As usual we <em>country<\/em>-rocked the place out:<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\">\n<p>It was broadcast live on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swrfm.org\/\">SWR FM<\/a>, which was kinda cool, and we didn&#8217;t totally suck. We even got a half decent recording out of it.<\/p>\n<p>Lots more <em>official<\/em> shots <a href=\"http:\/\/thetaken.info\/photos\/20060805\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having driven all the way to Sydney, Meg and I decided to stay for the weekend. Shara generously put us up (as usual), eventhough she was in Canberra, and we spent Sunday strolling around the city, just checking out the sights.<\/p>\n<p>We stumbled across a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2006_Israel-Lebanon_conflict#International_action_and_reaction\">pro-Lebanon<\/a> protest, which had some interesting posters and participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back in August we had a gig up in Sydney.
